PAC MODEL 3324-2
SPECIFICATIONS AND INFORMATION
The Model
3324-2 GPU is a combination power supply and battery pack.
| Batteries |
26 Amp
Hours at 10 hour rate
24 Volt DC- 25.5 Volts at rest
Sealed cells non-hazardous
Valve regulated high amperage output lead acid
2400 Peak Amps |
| Power
supply / charger |
300 amps
DC continuous output at 28.5 Volts.
Battery recharge time from fully discharged – 1 hour
AC Input – 220 Volts only @ 35 amps |
| Limitations |
300 amps
maximum DC load
NOTE- When using more than 300 continuous
amps, the batteries will make up the difference until they
become depleted. On most aircraft, a low voltage relay will
drop below a preset level. Once the GPU is dropped off, it’s
voltage will rise and will be accepted again by the aircraft,
then will immediately drop off again. This oscillation can
cause damage to aircraft components. |
The following dimensions apply
to each of the 3300s:
38"x21"x20" Handle Height 48".
Features-
The GPU is rated at 2400 peak starting amps and a continuous 300
amps DC output when connected to a 220 Volt AC source. This
unit is ideally suited to power up such aircraft as the Phenom
100 and the Phenom 300 which have very large AC units and require
a GPU capable of 300 amps continuous.
The 3324-2
weighs 200 Lbs. and is pulled by hand or tug. Locking the handle
in an upright position sets the GPU brake.
Always
recharge the GPU until charger green light appears. Once charged,
it is not necessary to leave the unit turned on. Leave unit plugged
in to the AC source when not in use.
***
There are approximately 30 110 volt and 30 220 volt NEMA plugs in
use. ***
Also, customers have various receptacle at their hangars and MRO
facilities
and may require specific AC cord length to meet their requirements.
Due to these facts, we do not automatically provide AC power cords.
If you provide the NEMA plug number and specify the AC power cord
length
you require we will build a cord to be shipped with your unit for
a small fee.
NOTE-PLEASE
USE #12 or LARGER AC EXTENSION CABLE
