| Limitations |
200 amps maximum
DC load
NOTE- When using more than 58 continuous amps, the batteries
will make up the difference until they become depleted. On most
aircraft, a low voltage relay will drop the GPU offline when
the voltage drops below a preset level. Once the GPU is dropped
off, it’s voltage will rise and will be accepted again by the
aircraft, then will immediately drop off again. This oscillation
can cause damage to aircraft components. |
The following dimensions
apply to each of the 3300s:
38"x21"x20" Handle Height 48". Features-
The GPU is rated at 3200 peak starting amps and a continuous
58 Amp DC output when connected to a 110 Volt or 220 Volt AC source.
This airplane starting unit
has a large battery capacity (78 Ah) that will allow extended usage
time when no AC power source is available.
The 3324
weighs 215 lbs. and is pulled by hand or tug. Locking the handle
in an upright position sets the GPU brake.
Always recharge
the GPU until green charger light appears. Once charged, it is not
necessary to leave the unit turned on. If a heater is installed,
leave unit plugged in.
Avoid discharging
the batteries completely as damage can result.
We also
carry portable starting units powered by lithium
batteries, other GPUs, and power supplies. If you would
like more information about the product featured on this page, please
select Request Info from the menu on the left, submit a brochure
request, and we will mail a hard copy of our product brochure.
NOTE-- PLEASE USE #12
or Larger AC EXTENSION CORD
***
There are approximately 30 110 volt and 30 220 volt NEMA plugs in
use. ***
Also, customers have various receptacle at their hangars and MRO
facilities
and may require specific AC cord length to meet their requirements.
Due to these facts, we do not automatically provide AC power cords.
If you provide the NEMA plug number and specify the AC power cord
length
you require we will build a cord to be shipped with your unit for
a small fee.
