The 28V output is set to match the voltage an aircraft sees when running under generator power, ensuring compatibility with sensitive avionics systems. Amperage depends on the load you need to power. 25A is sufficient for basic avionics checks and GPS programming. 50A covers full cockpit power for most maintenance tasks including radio, ILS, and instrument work. 300–400A is required for heavy loads such as searchlights, air conditioning systems, full cabin entertainment, and multi-system simultaneous operation.
